The link is valid for a limited time — typically 24 hours — after which it expires for security reasons.

If you don't see the reset email within a few minutes, check your spam or junk folder. Sometimes email filters can misdirect our messages. If you still don't find it, you can request a new reset link from our password reset page.

Once you click the reset link, we verify that the request is legitimate by checking the link's expiration and your email address. If everything checks out, you proceed to the password-creation screen where you set your new password.

Creating a Strong New Password

When you reach the password-creation step, we recommend choosing a password that combines letters, numbers, and special characters. A strong password makes it harder for someone to guess or crack your account through brute-force methods. Avoid using easily guessable information like your birthday, your city (Jakarta, Surabaya, Bandung, Medan), or simple sequential numbers.

As you create your new password, our interface shows a strength meter. Green indicates a strong password; yellow suggests improvement; red means the password is too weak. We do not force you to meet any specific requirement, but we do recommend aiming for at least yellow or green to protect your account adequately.

Once you're satisfied with your new password, confirm it by entering it again. This prevents typos that might lock you out. After confirmation, your password change is complete and you can log in immediately using your new credentials.

What Happens After Password Reset

Once you've successfully reset your password and logged back into ghub, your account access is fully restored. All your previous settings, transaction history, payment methods (DANA, e-wallet, mobile banking, local payment, online payment, e-wallet, mobile banking, local payment), and account balance remain intact. The password reset only changes your login credentials; it doesn't affect any other aspect of your account.
